I really needed to update my journal. It's so far behind that the last person that read it was Methuselah. Well, I am pretty damn happy with my entire life situation. I've actually gotten settled in and am able to produce some new works and get back to that stuff I really love, art. Painting is kind of on the way out at the moment and drawing is on the way back in for me. And lastly, I bought some cool new mechanical drafting pencils. I know, I'm a dork.

Excellent stuff here...its rare to see work that is both original in itself and yet still loyal to Lovecraft's writings. Your art also makes me realize that I might have been wasting a lot of time and money trying out various paints when I could very well produce gallery-quality work with the medium I love the most - pencil. Very inspiring!
Thank you for you comments. I have to admit I've been drawn to paints even though I really love pencil. I think it's the texture and size you can achieve with the use of paints. But details are really where pencil shines on smaller surfaces.
